Now lets get down to it. I want a lifestyle change, not a diet. So I did a lot of research to see what would be easy, inexpensive and still be able to enjoy food. After going through hundreds of website searches, reading blog after blog and after having thorough discussions with friends and coworkers I’ve decided clean eating is the only way to go. Not only is it healthy, you eat all freakin’ day long so you’re never hungry.
Yesterday on my daily BookBub email there just happened to be, “The Clean Eating Cookbook & Diet” digital copy for $0.99, so I bought it. Yesterday also happened to be grocery store day. Before I went to the grocery store I skimmed the entire book and made my grocery list strictly by what I read. If it wasn’t in the book, I didn’t buy it. Not only was my grocery bill lower than normal, everything I bought was pretty much fresh and organic from the fruits and veggies to the meats. I also bought three different size baggies to separate everything by serving size. That way it will be easier to grab and go. There’s little baggies of all kinds of fruit, veggies and nuts. I even separated acceptable breakfast foods into servings. Grab it, throw it in your on the go bag and off for a day of work or whatever else. Just made my life so much easier!!!!!
Now I really want to talk about this book I downloaded. I don’t know how long it’s going to be on sale for but I suggest you go buy it. $0.99 is a small price to pay for help with a lifestyle change. It’s called “The Clean Eating Cookbook & Diet” on sale at Amazon.
So on top of telling you what you can and can’t eat, it also breaks everything down to you. From the fundamentals to the benefits of clean eating. It has lists of acceptable foods, which are superfoods, along with many examples of your food throughout the day, when you should eat and how often. There are grocery lists to help you out as well as a meal plan and 100 recipes to get you going. The book is so easy to follow too. I’ve used and ate from two recipes so far and they were great! I’m marinating my dinner from another one of the recipes as we speak. I’m really excited about this whole clean eating thing and the book really helped with that. This is something I know I’ll stick with. The food is great and it’s just slight changes to my normal diet besides the fact I now eat all day long. But hey, I’m not complaining about that.
On top of the clean eating which keep in mind I just started yesterday; I’m also doing SlimQuick Pure protein shakes. I started those a couple weeks ago. They really do work. In one week I lost 5.5 pounds. Without changing eating habits or exercising. You mix one scoop with 4 oz of water twice a day. It’s not the best tasting stuff in the world but it’s worth it and just adds to my clean eating proteins.
I will definitely keep you updated on the progress with the clean eating regularly. I can’t tell you how excited I am about it.
Alright two blogs in one day after a two month break, I’ll stop here.
Until Next Time,
XOXO
